AAUS
The mission of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) is to advance and facilitate safe and productive scientific diving. Organizational membership includes colleges and universities, government agencies, museums and aquaria, environmental and archaeological consulting firms, and community science groups sharing a common thread of the use of diving as a research tool and a commitment to the health and safety of scientific divers.

Poster Design
As an avid SCUBA diver since my university days, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to illustrate the poster for the AAUS Diving for Science Symposium. Held at Simon Fraser University and co-sponsored by the Vancouver Aquarium, the Symposium brought together science diving pros from all over North America.
As the event was held in British Columbia, I drew inspiration from Browning Pass Wall, a dive site on Vancouver Island noted as one of the top dive sites in the world by none other than Jacques Cousteau.
A framed, hand-embellished, one of a kind poster was raffled off at the gala event and the design was used across promotional media including social, apparel, stickers, and the program cover.
